Japanese hair dryers
Japanese hair dryers (ヘアドライヤー) are a frequent request from our customers: Panasonic, ReFa and other brands. The selection for this search is collected from the stores at the moment you view the page.
Important: the power supply in Japan is 100 V with a type A plug. Before you order, check whether the model supports the voltage in your country, or plan to use a voltage converter.

What to look for when choosing
- Look for "海外対応" in the name or description: this is how Japanese stores mark models that support other voltages.
- Check the power in watts and the operating voltage (100 V or 100–240 V).
- The plug is type A (two flat pins): you may need an adapter for your socket.
Questions and answers
Will a Japanese hair dryer work with my socket?
If a model is made for 100 V only, plugging it directly into a 220–240 V socket can break it. Look for the "100–240V" marking in the specifications or use a suitable voltage converter.
Can the item be checked before shipping?
Yes: at the warehouse in Japan you can have the item checked to see that it works and matches the description. The terms and price are on the "Prices" page.
